Hillsborough’s Morse commits to Furman

Hillsborough High girls soccer player Alexa Morse has committed to Furman University for its incoming class in 2011.
Also currently a member of Hillsborough County United’s under-17 team coached by George Fotopoulos, the Terriers’ soon-to-be senior chose the Paladins over offers from the University of Tennessee and Davidson.
Morse was an honorable mention on the 2010 Tribune All-Hillsborough team, also being named to the Western Conference National Division First Team. She has also had involvement in Florida’s Olympic Development Program.
