Hillsborough’s Moore picks Miami

Hillsborough High defensive lineman Earl Moore committed to the University of Miami on Sunday during an unofficial visit.

Moore picked the Canes over Florida State, Florida and USF, among several others.

“I wasn’t planning on making any commitment today,” Moore said. “But once I got down there, It just felt like the right moment and the right place.”

Moore will be joining fellow Hillsborough County alumnus Anthony Chickillo, the former Alonso standout defensive linemen who has been getting snaps with the first team this summer.

Moore still plans to take his official visits this fall.
