Only seniors can take part in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl game, which is slated for early January in San Antonio, Texas. The game is played in the Alamodome and showcases 90 of the nation’s top seniors. football players in an East versus West match-up. The week leading up to the game features several coaching clinics and combines for underclassmen, who, like Harris, are invited as prospects to compete in future All-American Bowl combines.
Harris is being recruited primarily as a linebacker but has played all over the field for the Terriers. In Friday’s 20-10 district victory over Sickles, Harris scored on runs of 1 and 18 yards, punted and played linebacker the entire game. Entering that game, he was one of the team’s leading tacklers with 46, had one sack and was averaging 33.4 yards per punt.
