Hillsborough County girls soccer coaches’ poll released

The Hillsborough County girls soccer coaches’ poll was released Wednesday with Plant remaining at the top of the poll. The 5A-7 district tournament field is well represented in this second to last field as four of the top seven (Plant, Newsome, Wharton and Bloomingdale) will face off tonight in the district semifinals at Bloomingdale. There will be one more girls coaches poll released this season after the dust settles from Thursday and Friday’s district finals.

The coaches poll, in its third season, is released weekly and a tabulated by Wharton soccer coaches Denis Vukorep (girls) and Scott Ware (boys) and accepts votes from any Hillsborough County soccer coach. Teams listed with records (according to poll) as of Monday and previous ranking in parenthesis.
