USF has come back to take a 33-31 halftime lead over UConn.
Dominique Jones led the Bulls with 10 points in the first half; Chris Howard, performing well on Senior Day, hit a pair of 3-pointers.
USF’s biggest lead was 22-17; UConn led by as many as three.
A couple of stats that jump off the halftime boxscore:
—UConn is shooting 53.6 percent from the floor.
—USF is 3-for-5 from 3-point range.
—USF has an 8-2 advantage in points off turnovers.
