An entertaining first half is finished here at the Sun Dome with USF leading No. 17-ranked Pittsburgh 31-26.
After Pitt overcame an 11-point deficit to tie the game 22-all, USF closed the half on a 9-4 run.
Dominique Jones leads the Bulls with 13 points; Pittsburgh’s Gilbert Brown scored a game-high 15 points in the first half, hitting 5 of 6 shots.
Neither team shot particularly well, as USF hit 12 of 31 shots, Pitt 10 of 23 attempts.
