The rout is on at Raymond James Stadium, thanks to a record-setting first half from the USF offense.
Behind junior quarterback B.J. Daniels and junior running back Darrell Scott, the Bulls amassed 537 total yards of offense to build a commanding 49-14 lead over visiting Florida A&M.
Daniels completed 18 of 27 passes for 355 yards and four touchdowns. going to four different receivers, while adding another score on the ground. Scott, meanwhile, had 113 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 10 carries and added another 84-yard scoring reception.
The 49 points for the Bulls is the most for the program in the first half and tied for the most ever in a single half. USF also scored 49 points against Cumberland in 1998, that coming in the second half.
