Carrollwood Day School Prep football coach Lane McLaughlin says Jon Gruden’s son, Deuce, will play for the Patriots next season.
McLaughlin says Deuce, who will be a freshman, could end up playing quarterback, running back or defensive back for Carrollwood, which will be in its first FHSAA-sanctioned season of football.
“We’re just excited to have him,” McLaughlin says. “Maybe we can borrow Jon’s film room.”
Deuce has attended Independent Day school in Tampa.
