Georgetown 40, USF 31 (15:15 2nd H)

USF is trying to make a game of it here in the second half.
The Bulls cut the lead to six points briefly on Augustus Gilchrist’s dunk, but Georgetown’s Hollis Thompson hit a 3 to stretch Georgetown’s lead back to 40-31.
Dominique Jones was just whistled for an offensive foul with 15:15 left, and now we’re in a media timeout.
Georgetown’s ball and a 9-point lead when the game resumes.
