Land O’ Lakes tight end Kent Taylor plans to announce his college choice Thursday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. in the school’s gym.
Taylor, the top-ranked tight end in the country and No. 55 overall by Rivals.com, has narrowed his choices to Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Penn State. In all, the 6-foot-5 target received 31 Division I offers.
This season, Taylor missed the Gators first three games with a broken wrist suffered in the Kickoff Classic. But in his last three games, Taylor has 13 catches for 252 yards and three touchdowns.
Taylor also will be honored for his Army All-America Game selection at the ceremony. The game, to be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio in January and televised nationally on NBC, features some of the best athletes in the country.
