University of Florida senior Kristy Jaeckel played the best volleyball of her career last weekend, helping lead the Gators to three-set sweeps over Auburn and Georgia.
The outside hitter’s performances earned her the Southeastern Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week. It’s the All-American’s first in her career.
Jaeckel tallied 29 kills, 12 blocks, four digs and two service aces on the weekend.
Jaeckel led all hitters with 15 kills against the Tigers. She culminated the weekend with 14 kills on 25 swings against the Bulldogs. Her .520 hitting against Georgia is a season high for her.
