The Florida Gators became one of the latest Division I programs to make a scholarship offer to Plant City junior Jordan Prestwood.
Raiders coach Jason Strunk said Florida and Louisville recently extended an offer to the standout tight end. While some schools are recruiting Prestwood, who is 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, to play on the offensive line, Florida is recruiting him as a tight end.
Prestwood has picked up offers from some of the nation’s top collegiate programs in recent weeks, among them Alabama and Notre Dame. Prestwood also holds offers from in-state programs USF, Florida State, UCF and FIU, among others.
