ARLINGTON—We interrupt your college football programming to squeeze in the lineups from Rangers Ballpark, where the Rays are just as locked in to the action on the gridiron as the rest of the populace.
Va Tech-Miami is on the big screen in the clubhouse and Ohio State-Illinois is on one of the smaller TVs. I imagine it’s already been and will continue to be a rough day for Florida State fan Randy Choate, given USF’s impressive win earlier.
In matters of the diamond, Matt Garza takes the hill tonight looking to close out his season with a pair of wins so he can at least finish at .500. Garza takes a 3.70 ERA into tonight’s outing, but his 8-10 mark this year makes him the only one of the 39 big-league pitchers with an ERA under 3.90 to sport a losing record entering today. Some bad luck at work there, no doubt.
Here’s the lineup the Rays will run out there against Kevin Millwood:
Bartlett SS
Crawford LF
Longoria 3B
Zobrist RF
Burrell DH
Aybar 1B
Upton CF
Zaun C
Iwamura 2B
Garza P
