Bucs QB Jeff Garcia left a non-contact drill suddenly with an apparent leg injury.
The Bucs shut down the drill immediately, and began administering to Garcia.
Garcia was placed laying face down on a trainer’s table, with an ice bag wrapped around his calf. Garcia was then transported by golf cart to the locker room where he walked into the room under his own power but limping noticeably.
Garcia’s injury may not be the only serious injury suffered by a Buc. Starting DT Jovan Haye also left the field early after suffering an apparent groin injury.

I just told them how much they sucked and have no chance on winning the division title and had “GO BUCS” NFC SOUTH CHAMPS STILL !! All over it…lol What a bunch of cowards !!
I guess they couldn’t except the facts.

Shockey will get hurt or end up in jail, before Sept 7. T-Jack, running full speed, could knock Shockey on his butt 10 out of 10 times. Cali, you want to be a Buc Fan so bad, that you live on this Site for hours each day, & make stupid comments over & over & over again. You probably have life size posters of Bucs hanging all over your room. If your some big bad football guru or coach, you sure don’t write & act like it. I’d say your 5’-8”, 280 lbs, 25 yrs old, unemployed, sit on your computer 16 hours a day playing World of Warcraft, living at your parents house, have never had a date , quit school in the 10’th grade because it was more fun to get high & sit on the computer. Your favorite movie is Superbad. Your hero is named Mclovin.

and your height and weight on Dallas XClark is with Cleats and Pads…..That kid is about 6-1 at most. Are you really going to compare Dallas Clark and Jeremy Shockey’s stature. Now you are really showing how dim one can be…

With this injury to Garcia, however minor it may be, I would have to rethink my QB position. I am a Flip-Flopper & should run for office. I wanted Brett badly. Then Brett said he didn’t want Tampa & still wants Minnesota, so I said “F” Brett. Now after Garcia Games begin, & I like Garcia(Carmella better), I say we need to go after Brett, now. I think Jeff just had a bad cramp, but what’s next? I’d give up anything but a 1’st round pick or a key player for him. Simms for sure with a 2’nd round pick & that seems fair. If Favre goes to Minnesota, it will be a tough battle to fight in the NFC. Plays can be altered for Favre, & it just makes sense to get him & the Ring. It just does, before it’s too late. Go Bucs!!!

These comment sections are fun. I get to converse w/ lacrosse players and discuss their knowledge of football and world geography and economic impact of national disasters. Wow - this is nothing like the hmmmmmmmm what kind of cajun seasoning are you putting on your gator tail bits; that I find on other teams comments sites. And now - just for being here and show our support for the next SB Champions - TampaBay Buccaneers - we are all just a little smarter. Except for those who are still looking for their cajun seasoning on the wrong teams sites. “GO BUC’S”!

EXACTLY why I posted last week that the Bucs need plenty of ammo at the QB position and why Garcia should understand why Gruden only “dates Quarterbacks but never marries them.” Garcia has a history of being injury prone. It’s a 20 game season unless a team makes the playoffs. Garcia has NEVER played a season without missing games due to injury. BRETT FARVE on the other hand, has the MOST STARTS of any QB in NFL History. I realize it’s probably too late for even a savvy Brett Farve to come in and pick up Gruden’s offense. But just below my Playboy fantasies, is BRETT FARVE in pewter, throwing the winning touch down for these Bucs in Super Bowl XLIII at Ray Jay, on February 1, 2009.

Chuck King, Actually, Chuck, I moved to WI in 03, before the hurricane. I moved here to attend UW-LaCross; they offer some of the best Kinesiology programs in the nation. So, no, I wasn’t ran off from New Orleans. I had decided to attend college here, and stayed after I graduated. By the way, just about everyone in America began to pay higher insurance premiums due to past Florida hurricanes. So don’t pretend that you are superior or your state’s history hasn’t had a negative economical effect on us, too. Again, you have no place to talk. This country can use tax money for the next 5 years to support those trailers, and they still wouldn’t touch the amount of money that helped out Florida.

Come on..who’s beating us??
Checked Vegas’s odds lately?
Marion the Barbarian/ Romo/ TO/ #1 TE Witten/ D.Ware/ Z.Thomas/ and Pacman!!
and for you losers fussing at each other, the Saints will be much better than the Bucs this year, Saints probably make the playoffs, I like Colston and that Meachum kid out of Tennessee!

Dallas Clark 6’3 252 there ya go Backyard MVP
Posted by chris, fort myers on 07/31 at 04:39 PM
Yo Cali good comeback, actually I have more football knowledge than probably anyone here I have taken snaps, I have spent more time in film study then you’ve spent beating the X button, so there ya go Couch All-American.
Posted by CaliSaint, So Cal on 07/31 at 04:37 PM
He will definately be pounding Jack, T-Jack. As in Tenard Jackson correct? Yeah Im sure all 6 feet and 200 pounds are going to lay out a guy 6-5 and 250. It could happen, no really…..Come the eff on guy. Dallas Clark is smaller than T-Jack or whatever douchey nickname you have given him.
Posted by CaliSaint, So Cal on 07/31 at 04:34 PM
Apperently Chris you have never played Football and your only reference is Madden. Its quite all right though, not all of us can completely comprehand the game. Ill let you slide this time….
Posted by todd, PSJ on 07/31 at 04:23 PM
Phil,
I thought the Saints were bad !! But Dang the Cowgirls ? They are even BIGGER BUST then the Aints. They haven’t won anything in how many years ? 12 or 15 ? Not even a playoff game. And how much money has Jerry Jones lost his ##### on ? And its going to be the same story this season. BUCS or no BUCS the Cowgirls will lose their ##### again…lol “GO BUCS”
Posted by chris, fort myers on 07/31 at 04:21 PM
Hey Phil HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS? I’m sick of hearing super bowl claims you can’t even win a playoff game! $1billion Stadium…... Somebody’s over-compinsating for something
And to Cali saint great stat was that from your last season on Madden ‘08? The only cover two busting that’ll be happening is T-Jack busting Shockey in the Mouth just like Dallas Clark. Only Difference is Dallas Clark is twice the man and came back in the game, Shockey will go on the IR and be up in the press box befor you know it pounding jack and Coke!!!!
Posted by CaliSaint, So Cal on 07/31 at 04:11 PM
Dont even get us started on them Phil….
Posted by Phil Merrit, Panama City, on 07/31 at 04:09 PM
Damn, I didn’t know Buc fans and Saints fans hated each othe so much, kinda sounds like Tennessee and Florida fans, or Auburn / Alabama..I think if you combined New Orleans offense with Tampa’s defense, you’d all have a super Bowl ring…but since that ain’t gonna happen, all I can say is…HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!!!
Posted by CaliSaint, So Cal on 07/31 at 04:07 PM
To Chuck King, hey congrats on the….um….the, who are we kidding we all know the Bucs wont pull a trade to help unless its for another QB. Heres a little tidbit for your mouth, the GMen avg yards per carry with Shockey on the field - 4.5, without - 3.5. Please keep underestimating our O, please. All we have needed is a Cover 2 busting TE and we have that now. No more cloud zone blanket coverage to Colston’s side EVERY DOWN.
