We’re still about nine hours away from kickoff, but the USF football team is back on the field tonight at Rutgers.
While the Bulls were able to avoid the snowstorm that rolled through the Northeast last weekend, tonight’s game still will mark the coldest weather USF has played in this season. According to Weather.com, it’s currently 37 degrees in Piscataway, N.J., and it’s expected the Bulls will be dealing with sub-40 degree weather during the game, though the projected temperature for the 7 p.m. kickoff is 44 degrees.
Here’s the advance for the game. The Bulls will try to snap a three-game losing streak and grab some positive momentum at the start of the closing stretch to the season, when USF will play its final five games over the next 26 days.
—-It will be a busy day for USF athletics on the Internet. Tonight’s USF-Rutgers football game is being shown exclusively on ESPN3.com, but Bulls fans can also catch the men’s basketball team’s exhibition game against the University of Tampa at the Bob Martinez Athletics Center on the web as well.
You can find the game, scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. opening tip, at the UT athletics website, www.tampaspartans.com.
