Forum: Talk Rays

The Rays just announced that tickets for a potential Game 5 of the Division Series at Tropicana Field have sold out.
The game would be played next Wednesday, if necessary, at a time to be determined.
Tickets for Games 1 and 2 of the ALDS already are sold out. The Rays open the playoffs Thursday at 2:30 p.m. against the Twins or the White Sox.

Our Tampa Bay Rays have let the everyday fan down. I know at least 10 people that entered the email drawing and not one of us got the chance to lock up tickets. I guess I wont make the 1 hour drive every night to support them during the playoffs. Move the team to Tampa and stop being so greedy with the tics. Take note to what the OTHER MLB teams are doing. Oh and can someone explain why all the tics on stub hub and ebay are coming from Cali or AZ. Offer the tics to real Rays fans. Use peoples street address or something other than email that will identify fans in the area. Stop making the ticket brokers rich.
GO Rays! Screw the suits!

Sold out to scalpers! at 9:04am I tried to buy 4 tickets to be told that none in that number were available in the same row, 2 minutes later nothing was available within 10rows of the rail anywhere in the stadium of any number. I hope no one buys any of them from these scalping thieves.. the rays should be ashamed of themselves for being scammed like this.

MLB decides how the tix are sold, not the Rays. They’re not even allowed to take the Tarps off the unless MLB says they can.
I DID when the ticket lottery for game 5 and I DID login at 9:00am and get 4 seats in 303 row G. Just because you didn’t means you get all bent out of shape? You should be glad there’s so much interest - or they’ll leave!
I lost the lottery for games 1 and 2, but I went on Stub Hub right away and got game 1 $33 game 2 for $25. As far as putting the team in Tampa, get that big chip off your shoulder and quit whining. It’s been 10 yrs. We have to drive over to Tampa for Bucs & Lightning. Get over yourselves and support the team.
