TAMPA - Joey Galloway’s return to the playing field may not be far off.
“We’re on the right road,’’ said Galloway, who has been nursing a sore foot for close to a month now. “I am cutting [in private workouts] and I actually caught some balls today.’’
Galloway made his return to the practice field on Thursday and wouldn’t rule out a return to action this Sunday against Carolina. At the same time, though, Galloway expressed some caution about being too anxious to get back.
“We’re close so we don’t want to do anything that would set us back,’’ he said.
The Bucs have really missed Galloway. Without his deep speed, the team has seen it’s pass per attempt average fall to 5.45 yards. That’s just a little better than what the Bucs are averaging per rushing attempt (5.3).

Joey will play again soon, damn he gets paid a lot to sit!!! I have never seen a guy get hurt so much without even playing. HE runs one pattern and is out for weeks. ANY OTHER RECEIVER WOULD BE BETTER, at lease he might be able to suit up for a game before season is half over. I bet you that Joey will be out again for more games and then say he will get himself ready to sit another season like this one. HE could be superman but if he can’t play the just GET RID OF HIM!!!

many people mite disagree with me but i think we need to trade galloway while he still has a little left in the tank. we could give him away combined with a 2rd draft pick and get some one like who’syourmamma or holt. we already have plenty of possesion WRs i mean look at antonio bryat he can catch almost anything thrown at him now we need that guy who can get us YAC. but who ever we bring in can’t be 5’9 we need somone who the QBs can see

Let’s just stop the train a wait for ol joey! we have to produce with the players on the field. If that includes galloway then so be it! We need better play on defense and better QB play. They can do better! Once those two areas improve, then so does the team. WR’s are playing fine, bringing another WR in is not a bad idea, but we are getting good reps from the guys we are running it with now!

Hi Lou C....I just read your posting and I’ll bet you had a hard time graduating from elementary school. You can get a GED, but you will have to study a little. Good luck in your continuing education!
