Freedom’s Marino cleared to play Friday

Freedom coach Tchecoy Blount said senior quarterback Dominic Marino will play Friday against King.
Marino was taken out of the game during the second quarter against Riverview last Friday after he sustained a mild concussion on the field. Blount said Marino showed signs of memory loss on the sideline.
Blount said Marino saw a physician Monday and has been given clearance to play.
Freedom went on to beat King, 20-6. Last season, Marino passed for 706 yards and three touchdowns at Leto.
