The Rays have four prospects in the top-24 of mlb.com’s top-50 prospects.
Outfielder Desmond Jennings is ranked the highest at sixth.
Pitcher Wade Davis, who was 2-2 with a 3.72 ERA in six starts for the Rays last September, is ranked 13th.
Pitcher Jeremy Hellickson is ranked 20th and shortstop Tim Beckham is ranked 24th.
Davis, who finished 2009 in the Rays rotation, will start 2010 as one of the Rays five starters.
Jennings and Hellickson will begin the year at Triple A Durham but could both see time at Tropicana Field this summer.
Beckham, the first overall pick in the 2008 draft, will likely open the year with the Class A Charlotte Stone Crabs in the Florida State League.
