Former Wharton guard/forward A.J. Astroth, now a member of Faith Baptist School’s prep team, has added more offers after a strong showing at an AAU tournament in Las Vegas and South Carolina.
Astroth (6-foot-6) was named to the all-tournament team at the Fab 48 tournament in Las Vegas and MVP of the Big Shots tournament in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Faith Baptist coach Ryan Pannone said.
Pannone said Astroth picked up offers from Colorado, Providence, South Carolina, George Mason, LaSalle, Creighton, Evansville, Fairfield, Old Dominion, Georgia Southern, Wofford, FAMU, Murray St. and Tennessee-Chattanooga.
