Former Jefferson FS to walk on at UCF

Former Jefferson free safety Brendin Straubel has joined the University of Central Florida’s football team as a walk-on, former Jefferson coach Mike Fenton said.
Last seaosn, Straubel recorded 52 tackles with one interception and six pass deflections for the undefeated Class 3A state champions.
Fenton said Straubel had offers to play at smaller schools.
