Alonso’s Anthony Chickillo wanted Division I programs know he’s not set on Miami. And it appears they’ve gotten the message.

The defensive end received an offer from Florida State on Tuesday, his fourth in-state school offer. Chickillo also has offers from Florida International, Miami and UCF, as well as Purdue, UConn and Wake Forest. Notre Dame is very interested and is expected to offer soon.
Chickillo’s father and grandfather both played for the Hurricanes and after they made an offer, the defensive standout worried other colleges would think he was locked in. But he’s wide open to any offers.
Chickillo missed several games last season after he broke his collarbone in the first game of the season against Brandon. He still led the Ravens with 12.5 sacks and also had 72 tackles.
