Florida preps participation numbers in national top 10

According to a 2009-2010 survey conducted by the National Federation of State High School Associations, only Texas, California, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Pennslyvania, Michigan and New Jersey have more student-athletes participating in sports than Florida, which had a combined (boys and girls sports) 247,428. Texas led the way with 780,721 participants.
