Florida in the mix for Leto’s Deering

Less than 24 hours after Urban Meyer announced he is stepping down as head coach at Florida, Leto running back Jeremy Deering finally received an offer from the Gators.

Offensive coordinator Frank Rose received the phone call with the offer early Sunday morning. Florida is one of nearly 30 Division I scholarship offers Deering has received. He has set all of his official visits and won’t take one to Florida, but he has been on a couple of unofficial visits to the campus.

Having already been on visits to Purdue and Illinois, Deering will visit Florida State and Rutgers next month.
