At halftime in Tennessee, the Florida Gators football team is leading the Volunteers 7-3.
There hasn’t been much offense between both teams. Florida only has 94 total yards of offense, with 75 through the air and 19 on the ground; Tennessee 69 yards, with 53 passing and 16 rushing.
The Volunteers failed to put much pressure on UF quarterback John Brantley, even though Florida’s offense looked somewhat stagnant.
“We’re adjusting to formations. We’re playing hard. That’s the biggest thing (to holding Florida to low rushing),” said Tennessee coach Derek Dooley at half time to CBS.
Florida senior center Mike Pouncey’s snapping struggles continue. He had two bad snaps in the first half - one a fumbled snap on third down that forced the Gators to punt.
