Fivay senior outside hitter Briannah Nemetz has been selected to represent her state and country in a volleyball tournament by Down Under Sports in Australia next summer.

Nemetz, who along with her twin sister, Ashleigh, have led the Falcons (23-6) to the program’s first district title this season and a region semifinal match Tuesday with district foe Anclote, will play in a seven-day-long tournament in July and play on the team consisting of players from Florida. It will be the 16th annual volleyball tournament.

Nemetz, who helped guide the Falcons to a region finalist berth last season, is second on the team in kills (231) behind her sister, Ashleigh (247).
