Hillsborough County:

Fisher officially an Alonso Raven

Gaither’s loss is Alonso’s gain.

Former Cowboys quarterback/receiver Dylan Fisher has transferred and could play a variety of roles for the Ravens, coach Mike Heldt said.

“He is definitely a great athlete,” Heldt said. “He can play defensive back and receiver. Obviously we throw the ball a lot so we can add him to the mix.”

Fisher also could serve as an emergency quarterback, behind C. J. Bennett.

Alonso coaches will have to wait and see where Fisher will fit in. The upcoming junior is currently healing from a broken jaw that occurred during a scuffle earlier this summer. Last year, Fisher was second on the team with 16 receptions for 208 yards and two touchdowns.

This message is for gobulls32, I don’t read this very often but I did read your comment about Dylan’s parents.  They probably don’t have a GPS on their kid like you do.  He spent the night at a friends house that night and unfortunately was jumped. You must be one of those parents who are perfect, or just a hater or who is really never happy and goes online to criticize and try to hurt people. If your a parent that’s sad and I feel sorry for your kids. Maybe you should go to his house and smack him, I’m guessing you know them. That’s right your hiding behind a fake name.

broken jaw in a scuffle? I’m going to guess he was someplace he shouldn’t have been at a time not appropriate for his age. Please correct me if i’m wrong someone. If i’m right then someone smack his parents.
Guess he’s well on his way to an NFL career.

If the kid has that much potential then don’t let him screw it up. Keep him home and make him hit the books.
