Cincinnati quarterback Zach Collaros scored on a 2 yard run with 12 seconds to play, lifting the Bearcats to a 37-34 victory over USF on Saturday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium.
It was one of three touchdown drives Collaros led in the fourth quarter, and his short scoring run in the waning moments answered a USF touchdown drive just 75 seconds earlier. Bulls quarterback B.J. Daniels threw a 10-yard scoring pass to Andre Davis with 1:27 remaining.
Collaros finished 26 of 41 passing for 389 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. He also ran for two scores.
Daniels completed 31 of 47 passes for 409 yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort.
The Bulls have now lost three straight following a 4-0 start and are 0-3 in Big East Conference play for the first time. Cincinnati improves to 6-1 and 2-0 in the Big East.
