As expected, Notre Dame has offered Anthony Chickillo a scholarship.

The Fighting Irish become the 21st school to make an offer to the Alonso defensive end. The others include Florida, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Nebraska and USF.

It’s been a flurry of activity for Chickillo this week with the bulk of his offers coming in the past three days.

Chickillo was recently named to the first team defense for the U.S. Army All-American National Combine, an event he competed in last month. Last season, he led the Ravens with 12.5 sacks in only six games. He missed six because of a broken collarbone.
