Starfight Productions continues its Fight Night at the Pavilion series Aug. 15. Headlining the night in the main event will be Port Richey’s Carlos Rivera, who will face Juan G. Cruz.

Undefeated welterweight Keith Thurman of Clearwater will take on Atlanta’s Omar Bell; Nicholas Iannuzzi of Tampa will face Troy Griffin, also of Tampa; Ahsandi Gibbs of St. Pete takes on Marvin Blair, also of St. Pete; Tampa’s Reynaldo Cepeda faces Maryland’s Brandon Reid; and St. Pete’s Laquel Fleming takes on tarpon Springs’ Manny Cortessis.

As most folks know, Thurman, who finished second in the U.S. Olympic Boxing Trials in 2007, has yet to have an opponent make it to Round 2. Here’s a review of those first round KOs:
