Just when it seemed like things couldn’t get any more stressful for the Armwood football program, Hawks coaches learned late this week the FHSAA was expanding its eligibility investigation of one Hawks player to multiple players.
For a squad already dealing with a probe that started last month over a question of residency eligibility of starting offensive lineman Jack Lightsey, the death of a player’s father two weeks ago and, this week, coaches being unable to get into their own offices due to a change in locks, it’s been a trying time for the Hawks.
