The Florida High School Athletic Association has announced new classifications and districts in baseball and softball for the 2009-10 school year.
The new districts are tentative at this point, but the changes should be minimal. The state organization stated there will be no appeals process for any school wishing to move up or down a classification. Rather, the only appeals that can be made are for independent teams being added to the state series, and vice versa.
