Famous back in uniform

Junior C Jarrid Famous, who missed Tuesday’s game because of a knee injury, is back in uniform and working out on the court with his teammates here at the Sun Dome.

Bulls coach Stan Heath said Friday that he expected Famous, averaging 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds, to return for this afternoon’s game against St. John’s.

A couple of pregame notes:

+ USF’s four-game home win streak is its longest streak of conference wins at home in 10 years, last accomplishing the feat as a member of Conference-USA.

+ St. John’s is 1-5 on the road in Big East play.

+ After Famous missed his first game, Dominique Jones, Chris Howard and Toarlyn Fitzpatrick are the only Bulls to appear in all 25 games.

+ Former Bull and current Dallas Cowboy defensive back Mike Jenkins is scheduled to attend the game along with a few former Bulls.
