An interception by (who else?) Ronde Barber gave the Bucs offense a short field, and Garcia, looking a bit more into the game, found Michael Clayton for a 10-yard score to cut the Jaguars’ lead to 10-7. Clayton, in fact, had a key reception earlier in the drive to keep it going.
So, we come back to the annual question: is Clayton ready to be a regular contributor to the offense again? It would certainly seem important, given Joey Galloway’s absence to this point, which is not a good sign at all for the Bucs.
Meanwhile, the Bucs defense, keyed mostly by first-teamers, forced a three-and-out and Garcia will have a chance to leave the game with a lead-claiming drive just before half.
Update: OK, forget that. Brian Griese is the guy with the chance to give the Bucs the halftime edge

Garcia was rusty, kinda thought he would be. Griese was sloppy, over thorwing Stovall and dumb throw in the endzone. Bryant missed a easy FG. Other than all that we are playing good D and Stovall looks good.

I think we need to start worrying about PK Matt Bryant, how do you miss a easy 25yd field goal? That is his 3rd miss out of 5 tries

Have we learned anything from previous years? We continue throwing dink donk passes.Brooks consistently miss tackles.D.Jackson is a bust, plays scared. M.Clayton continues to drop passes.M.Stovall has the size and height but doesn’t use it...ask Coston from N.O. how to? B.Grieses plays scared, will throw the ball to opponents. We’re not a threat w/the long ball w/o Galloway.Pass rush sucks.M.Bryant AKA Gramatica. B.Clark is a steal...he hustles, plays heads up ball and is consistent. C.Smith is a punt returner who plays to win, has heart and determination. We had the opporyunity to pick up play makers during the off season.Garcia’s attitude is...go get Favre. I rest my case.
