ESPN’s “Game Day” to make appearance in Gainesville

ESPN’s “Game Day” will make its way to Gainesville on Feb. 5 for the matchup between the Florida and Kentucky basketball teams.

Set up from inside the Stephen C. O’Connell Center, the show will air from 10 a.m. to noon, and once again at 8 p.m. before the Gators and Wildcats tip off at 9 o’ clock.

“Game Day” will be returning for its seventh season, and it will be the third time the show aired from Gainesville. The last time was 2008.

Florida played Kentucky in the last two “Game Day” showdowns - Feb. 4, 2006 and Jan. 19, 2008. The Gators won both games.
