SYRACUSE, N.Y. USF will take a 13-point lead in the final quarter at the Carrier Dome, but Syracuse is in prime position to make this game a little bit closer.
The Orange will have a first down at the Bulls 8 when the fourth quarter begins and can make it a one-score game with a touchdown.
USF managed the only points in the third quarter on a 35-yard field goal by Maikon Bonani, but the Bulls could have had much more. They had a touchdown run on the Bonani field goal drive wiped out because of a penalty, and their next possession ended when Victor Marc fumbled through the end zone while diving for a potential score.
