After a lackluster first half, USF turned things up a notch in the third quarter.
Short touchdown runs from fullback Richard Kelly and quarterback BJ Daniels have helped the Bulls open the game up a bit against visiting Western Kentucky.
USF marched 82 yards on 11 plays on its first drive of the half, which was capped by Kelly’s TD run. Then, after holding the Hilltoppers offense, Terrence Mitchell return a punt 67 yards to the Western Kentucky 15, and Daniels eventually capped the drive with a 1-yard sneak.
