PITTSBURGH USF will need a big fourth-quarter comeback to avoid its first loss of the season.
Pittsburgh scored touchdowns on each of its first two possessions of the second half to build its largest lead of the night, 34-17, with 15 minutes to play.
Tino Sunseri threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Hubie Graham, and Zach Brown followed with a short touchdown run on the Panthers’ next drive.
USF’s offense punted on each of its first two second-half possessions, B.J. Daniels was dropped for a 12-yard loss on a 4th-and-short play to end the Bulls third offense drive of the quarter and the fourth ended on the last play of the quarter with another Justin Brockhaus-Kann punt.
