East Bay senior fullback Chaz Burrows has signed with the University of Charleston, a Division II program, Indians coach Brian Thornton said Thursday.
Burrows, who is 5-foot-8 and 176 pounds, led East Bay with 1,122 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in 2008. A Tribune All-Hillsborough County honorable mention selection each of his last three seasons, Burrows finished his prep career as the Indians’ all-time leader in career rushing yards with 2,962.
In addition, senior lineman Jake Anaya is headed to Waldorf College, an NAIA program, Thornton said.
