Eagles standout Cozart earns lofty ranking
Brandon wrestling standout Joe Cozart has been ranked the nation’s third best high school senior 152-pounder by Wrestling USA Magazine.
Cozart, a three-time state champion for the Eagles, is one of just 11 wrestlers from Florida to be ranked among the nation’s top 30 seniors at their respective weight.
Cozart is a Division I recruit and he plans to make official visits to Iowa State, Arizona State, North Carolina State and The Citadel, according to his father, longtime Brandon coach Russ Cozart. Russ Cozart said his son holds scholarship offers from each of the four programs.
