Durant’s Gottman honored by Bucs

Durant football coach Mike Gottman has been selected as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Coach of the Week for Week 7 following the Cougars’ 20-15 victory over Sickles last Friday.

Gottman will receive $1,000 for the Cougars program for being selected, in addition to getting a personalized football from Bucs coach Raheem Morris and a tour of One Buc Place.

Gottman’s Cougars improved to 6-1 after knocking off the Gryphons in a big non-district matchup at Sickles. Durant, which has won four straight, has a bye this week before big district games against Plant City and Newsome in consecutive weeks.
