Forum: Talk Bucs

Q: With all the talk surrounding Chad Johnson and his wish to be traded, isn’t NOW the time for the Bucs to step up and compete for this guy’s services? What gives?—Charles Pruitt, New Orleans
A: It’s probably not going to happen. It’s doubtful the Bengals will trade Johnson and the Bucs probably don’t have enough to get him if he becomes available. Johnson’s a heck of a talent, but I’m not sure he’d be a good fit in the Buc locker room. Great chemistry was a key factor for the Bucs last season.

Hey Roland…
Ocho-cinco is about as good for the Bucs’ locker room as his cousin. Yeah, none other than Keyshawn !

How can u say it’s “doubtful”. He’s all but forced them to take the best available deal, while driving his trade value down while he’s at it… He couldn’t be anymore gone. If any team offers as much as a second round pick, Chad Johnson will not play for Cincy next season. Period.
All Cincy is doing is waiting and praying two teams or three teams feel he could push them into the next echelon and start a biding war. And then if not they still will pull the trigger at the draft.
I feel Chad could help the Bucs offense as he is a good fit and would be a significant upgrade.

It hard to say how Ocho would feel if Joey stole the show like he usually does-GO JOEY!
