Does football and heat mix?

We’ve reached the doorstep of the 2011 football season. Summer workout sessions have been conducted and tons of 7-on-7 competitions have been held.

All of this has taken place in the unforgiving Florida heat. But with the recent deaths of two football players in Georgia and a coach in Texas, in addition to several other incidences, attention has once again been focused on the subject matter.
