Tampa Bay Storm quarterback Brett Dietz suffered a minor injury to a finger on his throwing hand during at training camp Thursday, though it didn’t prevent him from completing a pair of workouts at Skyway Park.
Dietz suffered a laceration to his right index finger during a center-quarterback exchange with Cornealius Fuamatu. After trainers were able to stop the bleeding, Dietz was able to continue and didn’t have any problems the rest of the day.
“It’s just one of those things where the center and me need to get on the same page,” Dietz said. “It’s our fourth day together so we need to just work it out. After the injury, we got it fixed so there shouldn’t be a problem from here on out.”
