Armwood head coach calls what Dexter Manley II brings to football practice “positive violence.” It’s the kind of football Callahan loves—hard-nosed, intense and physical.
But what Callahan really enjoys about Manley’s presence as his newest assistant is the life lessons he can teach his players. As the son of one of the greatest Washington Redskins players ever, Dexter Manley, the younger Manley was given a lot of natural ability. But as the son of the same man who experienced the power of drug addiction, the younger Manley learned a lot of tough lessons as a young man.
