Deering selects final official visit

Leto running back Jeremy Deering plans to visit with Coach Steve Spurrier and South Carolina next month.
The Gamecocks are the final school Deering has scheduled visits with, Falcons offensive coordinator Frank Rose said. He’s already made official visits to Purdue and Illinois. The running back will visit FSU Jan. 8-10, South Carolina the following weekend and Rutgers the weekend after that.
Florida State and South Carolina have made big pushes lately for Deering’s services. USF, one of the more than 20 Division I schools to make scholarship offers is no longer an option for Deering. He dropped them from consideration.
