Tampa Catholic senior and former quarterback Dickie de Lama said Thursday he and his dad will visit the University of Miami next weekend.
“If they’re trying to recruit Marve and he doesn’t go there, there my be an opening,” de Lama said.
de Lama said it is not an official visit and that he and his dad are just “popping in” to tour the campus and talk with some of the coaches.
Dickie said he wants to stay in Florida, which is why he’ll also see what Florida International has to offer. On the other hand, he also has received interest from a few Ivy League schools.
