Baseball commissioner Bud Selig and newly elected Hall of Famer Andre Dawson will attend the Governor’s Baseball Dinner on Feb. 17 at Tropicana Field.
Governor Charlie Crist as well as members of the Hall of Fame and other notable former big leaguers will also be on hand.
The program will also honor the World Series champion Yankees and the National League champion Phillies.
Hall of Famers Robin Roberts, Al Kaline, Mike Schmidt, Bill Mazeroski, Phil Niekro Tony Perez and Wade Boggs attended the 2009 dinner. So did Ken Griffey, Sr., Eric Davis, Kent Tekulve and Manny Sanguillen.
The program starts with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by the dinner at 7 p.m.
Gary Thorne, the current voice of the Baltimore Orioles, will be the emcee.
Tickets are $100 and tables of 10 are available for $1,000.
