DUNEDIN—Rays starter Wade Davis is not off to a terrific outing. The Toronto Blue Jays tied the game 3-3 with a three-run first. Kyle Phillips, the replacement at first base when Lyle Overbay was lifted after getting bumped by Carl Crawford on a bunt attempt, bashed a three-run homer. Davis, who was named this week as Tampa Bay’s fifth starter, surrendered two doubles, a single and the three-run homer in his opening inning.
After one, Rays 3, Jays 3.
