Anthony Davidson of England was the fastest driver during night practice Thursday for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh From Florida. Driving the #07 Peugeot HDi FAP, he turned a lap of 1:45.494 around the 3.7-mile Sebring International Raceway airport course.
Davidson is new to the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron series, but is well known in Europe. He has 21 career Formula 1 starts for Minard from 2002-2006 and is a test driver for Brawn GP.
David Brabham was quickest among P2 drivers with a lap of 1:48.711 in the #1 Honda Performance Development ARX-01c, and JR Hildebrand was fastest in the new Le Mans Challenge (LMPC) class with a lap of 1:57.471 in the #36 Oreca FML09.
Dirk Mueller was quickest in a very competitive GT2 class with a lap of 2:01.928 in the #90 Rahal Letterman BMW E92 M3 and Leh Keen topped the new GTC class with a 2:08.012 lap in the #81 Mission Foods Porsche 911 GT3 Cup fielded by Alex Job Racing of Tavarres.
